Alec Hanson Promoted to SVP, Divisional Manager of loanDepot's Newly Created Pacific Southwest Division
In new role, Hanson will oversee growth of Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Hawaii, Southern Nevada and parts of Southern California

FOOTHILL RANCH, Calif., March 1, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, John Bianchi EVP, National Production Manager Distributed Retail, announced that Alec Hanson has been named to loanDepot's leadership team as SVP, Divisional Manager of its new Pacific Southwest Division. In his new role, Alec will oversee the production and growth of Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Hawaii, and Southern Nevada while continuing to lead parts of Southern California as well. Prior to this new role, Alec served as VP, Regional Production for loanDepot in Southern California and has been recognized over the years as a Top 1% loan originator, team builder, and industry thought leader.

Well-respected by his peers and colleagues for his leadership style, Hanson continues to drive the industry forward with his passion for mentoring and encouraging the personal and professional growth of the loan officers he supervises. He recently was instrumental in the development and execution of the Modern Lending Playbook, an innovative, interactive training program created to maximize the success of loanDepot's loan officers.

Hanson earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and together with his wife, Erica, are the proud parents of two children and two bulldogs. In his spare time, Hanson is a fierce competitor, an avid CrossFitter and a self-described nerd.
